When searching for a German language course many students think of learning German in Germany, in one oft he big cities like Munich, Berlin, Stuttgart or Hamburg. Some also think of going to the capital of Austria and take German lessons in Vienna. But have you ever thought about learning German in the middle of the Austrian Alps - in Kitzbühel - close to Munich, Innsbruck and Salzburg – where you also find the nearest airports close to our language school as well as beautiful sights you can visit on a daytrip on the weekends and enjoy the peacefulness and stillness of the countryside during the course week.
Learning German in Munich for sure is a great opportunity, as the city is famous for Oktoberfest, Münchener Weißwurst – a typical Bavarian veal sausage – beer and soccer... ;) Take a German language course in Berlin if you are interested in the history of Germany – especially the Second World War – and visit Brandenburg Gate and Berlin Wall. Learning German in Berlin also could be fun if you are looking for wild techno parties and if you want to get a tasty Doner Kebab or Currywurst. Learning German in Vienna is a good idea, if you are looking forward to admire the historical buildings of the monarchy and monuments and if you like to get your coffee from a very grumpy Viennese waiter. But kidding aside – of course all those cities are extremely beautiful historical places and offer a lot of free time activities and attract an enormous amount of international audience. BUT some of you might want to escape the stress and pollution of big cities and just enjoy learning German in one of the most beautiful areas in the German speaking world: Kitzbühel. Kitzbühel is located in the middle of the Austrian Alps and it is surrounded by a vastness of natural beauty. Taking German lessons in the mountains offers you a wide range of activities as well: learn German and go hiking or climbing, learn German and go downhill biking, learn German and go skiing or snowboarding, learn German and play Golf, Tennis and much more. Enjoy your German language course close to Germany and just relax in the stillness of the Austrian Alps. Escape the speed of the city and the daily stress. Go for a nice coffee in the medieval city centre of Kitzbühel. Enjoy a concert of traditional Austrian music. Go for a calming stroll around the lake „Schwarzsee“. Hike up the mountain or go with the cable car and enjoy an unforgettable breakfast when the sun rises and enjoy the impressive view of Tyrol’s mountain ranges. In Kitzbühel you will also find culinary delights of the region as well as high-class restaurants with a mix of Tyrolean specialties and international delicacies. There are many bars, where you can find delicious beers and wines from Austria. Try a traditional „Radler“ (mix drink of beer with water or a soft drink) or the famous white-wine Spritzer or have a fancy cocktail in the exclusive flair of the world famous alpine locations with – as it’s said – the world’s best ski areas (233 kilometers of downhill skiing) and a stunning surrounding where you can spend a great time all around the year. If you are interested in partying – no problem, we have a vibrant night life in Kitzbühel. The best thing is – you don’t even need a taxi to go home. Within a 20-minutes walk you are back in the silence of your lovely and calm pension or homestay and get a good nights sleep. Our favourite argument, why an intensive German language course in Kitzbühel might be better than in Munich, Berlin or Vienna: There are less distractions. So the intensive learning experience is guaranteed. Also in winter the snow really is white and not greyish or brownish caused by the emissions from the cars etc.
