The DIT’s summer camps are held as intensive language courses for adults and for learners of all levels. DIT is open all summer. Courses start on any Monday. We do not specifically offer language courses for teenagers (16+), but we can make exceptions.*
All programs include three free time activities per week. While visiting the town, having coffee together, going for leisurely walks or visiting the lake and much more we practice your German speaking skills.
DIT’s German summer courses in Austria not only take place in one of the most beautiful places of the German speaking world - Kitzbühel - but are also an intense learning experience due to the small classes and therefore allow for a high level of personal attention from the teachers. Learn German effectively in classes with 3-6 students, enjoy our fun free time activities while speaking German and experience the summer of your life in the Austrian Alps. Take a break from the stressful daily life and surrender to the peaceful surroundings in the middle of nature or participate in adventurous activities in the mountains.
Besides all kinds of free time activities, Kitzbühel also offers events such as legendary sports events, culinary highlights, culture and music events and contemporary art. Kitzbühel also has a vibrant nightlife. It is not to be compared to the nightlife in big cities. Kitzbühel is a small and safe town. Going out in Kitzbühel is a delight: Enjoy a drink on one of the terraces in balmy summer night temperatures and watch the hustle and bustle of Kitzbühel’s glitterati. Meet people from different cultures and practice speaking German through conversations with locals and German guests from all around the German speaking world.

*We do not hold courses for children or teenagers. If you want to book a German language course as a family, please send us an email for an individualized offer. As traveling in Austria as solo traveler is allowed from the age of 16+, we can make exceptions, and let teenagers attend the German summer courses, if their parents guarantee good behavior and take responsibility for their children. The DIT will not be held liable for underage students.
